Self taught musician Nigel Shelbourne, began his career as a drummer before being offered a gig as a bass player (he gained a promotion) in Perth band Deeler. After 2 years of recording and touring, Nigel was asked to play with heavy rock legends True Colors.
This band had a solid fan base in the 80's becoming a bench mark for others to follow. After quite some time, Nigel moved to Sydney for five years and toured with national blues legend Rick Veneer and the Vigilantes. Touring with Kevin Borich around the country, before heading to Japan for a brief concert series.
After reverting back to the drums and playing with an original band in Perth called Intensely Mellow for a few months, Nigel was asked to play with long time drinking partner James Morley  in Our Generation
