James Morley
James Morley started playing the drums in high school bands before taking up the bass (at an audition for a drummer no less) in the late eighties. He joined The Rookies who went on to become one of Western Australia's biggest pub bands at the time, drawing over a thousand people, 3 nights a week for 3 years. After their demise, he formed Strawberry Blonde who took over from where The Rookies left off.
As the band were about to embark on a recording project, James caught wind of an opening as bass player for rock legends The Angels . Within a couple of weeks, he had successfully got the job and was sitting at Ardent studios in Memphis, recording Beyond Salvation , which went on to sell at double platinum status and became the first number one album for The Angels in Australia. This was followed by MTV live videos, concert tours and overseas trips. One of the first concerts he performed with the band was in front of 42,000 people alongside his favourite artists such as Midnight Oil, Crowded House and Jimmy Barnes to name a few.
Five years and a couple of more albums later, James left the band to record his own album (see soundbytes here) at the famed Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas . This studio is the second most successful (in record sales) in the world spawning AC/DC 's Back in Black to name one of many world best sellers. At the helm of his Freewheelin album was Terry Manning who was responsible for producing ZZ Top and Led Zeppelin amongst others. James played all the instruments (bass, drums, guitar and vocals) himself.
After spending some time performing these tracks live, James had been speaking to AC/DC drummer Simon Wright (one of the true gentlemen in rock) and was asked to go to the U.S.A. to play some guitar tracks with Simon on an AC/DC tribute album Thunderbolt James stayed with Simon and his Family in L.A. for some three months whilst recording tracks alongside Sebastian Bach (Skid Row), Phil Collen (Def Leppard), Scott Ian (Anthrax), Lemmy (Motorhead), Whitfield Crane (Ugly kid Joe), Bob Kulik (Meatloaf), Warren DeMartini (Ratt), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow,Deep Purple) and many more.
More recently, James appeared in the movie Thunderstruck released in early 2004. James played the part of Angus Young Based on the story of a group of friends, who are fanatical followers of legendary rock group AC/DC . Thunderstruck is backed by the Film Finance Corporation of Australia and Sony Music, the film was produced by Al Clark, the man behind Australian-made box office hit Priscilla - Queen Of The Desert. Thunderstruck , follows the adventures of the group who make a pact on the greatest night of their lives - the 1991 Sydney concert of AC/DC . The film's storyline is set in 2001 - 10 years after its main characters make their AC/DC concert pact. The scenes filmed in Perth included the re-enactment of the 1991 Sydney Razors Edge concert, filmed at Metropolis Perth. James was asked to put together a local band to be used in this re-enactment featuring three of AC/DC's most prestigious tracks, Thunderstruck, TNT and A Long Way To The Top , which the film's producers secured the rights to use.
James was playing with Paul Woseen of The Screaming Jets in their acoustic duo Cranky before Paul moved to Melbourne . Paul has since been replaced with Christian Parkinson in the duo. Paul still treks to Perth with The Screaming Jets and plays a few Cranky shows when he can.

Stuart Robertson - Drums
"Self taught, naturally gifted. A tasty groove, an inspiring mix of creole and soul, an asset to all music....." So says Suzanne Robertson, talking of her beloved only son. Stuart was born into a musical family, and absorbed the music of his parent's caribbean heritage, as well as the funkier side of the 70's. After starting on hand percussion at 3, Stuart started playing the drumset in 1982, starting a musical journey that would take him across the world. Stuart started playing professionally in 1988, and now, 20 years later, has enjoyed many varied musical endeavours. From the garage rock of "Mandy Monterey", the award winning "WALL 2 Wall", and numerous pool party bands, Stu has become one of Perth's most respected players. In the mid 90's, Stu got his taste of success when, after a brief stint with Back 2 Back, he joined Perth Phenomena, "RADIO 80'S" Therein began a yearlong residency @ METROPOLIS CITY, a feat no other perth band has matched. After 5 years, it was time for a new direction. Stu played in various original acts, before auditioning for the band, "OUR GENERATION" Beating out several of perth's top skinsmen for this prestigious gig, Stu has made this talented group his home for the last 4 years, and has entertained countless thousands in that time. Stuart plays BRADY DRUMS, which are handcrafted by the artisans @ Brady out of Western Australian Jarrah wood. For smaller, quieter gigs, Stu uses the new Traps a-400, a portable, shell-less set that still sounds great.
